PSA-RSSO I joins the Regional Celebration of the National Women’s Month with the theme, “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!” The kick-off activity was spearheaded by the Regional Advocates on Gender Equality (RAGE) on 08 March 2024 in the City of San Fernando, La Union. The program started with a Walk for GAD participated by various agencies and Local Government Units in the region. This was followed by a thanksgiving mass and Zumba at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-Mid La Union Campus.

PSA-RSSO I also set-up GAD booth which featured the various I EC on Gender Statistics, Civil Registration, and PhilSys. As part of the service provided to women, PSA staff answered queries relative to civil registration and PhilSys registration. Likewise, a Wheel of GAD was also set-up to make the booth more engaging that highlighted GAD terms such as Gender Equality, Women Empowerment, and Gender Responsiveness. Female participants with PhillDs or ePhillDs were given the chance to spin the wheel in exchange for gifts. The participants were also encouraged to like and follow the PSA llocos Region Facebook Page.

The RAGE awarded PSA-RSSOI certificates for their active participation in the RAGE-1 GAD Best Booth 2024 and in the 2024 National Women’s Month Celebration. This showed the agency's commitment to its Gender and Development advocacy through provision of gender statistics and gender-responsive services to the people.
