Professional Background

Atty. De Guzman graduated as Cum Laude with a degree of Bachelor of  Science in Accountancy from Saint Louis College in 1997. She earned her  master’s degree in Business Administration from the same institution in  2002 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2008. In 2014, she  graduated in Bachelor of Laws from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State  University and passed the Bar examination in 2016.

She was designated as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Civil  Registration and Administrative Support Division (CRASD) of the RSSO I from December 2015 to 2018 while holding a Registration Officer IV  position. She was then appointed as Chief Administrative Officer of  CRASD in 2018.

Atty. De Guzman was designated as OIC-RD until 27 January 2022. As a  full-fledged Regional Director, she is responsible for the management of  statistical, administrative and information dissemination as well as  coordination of different field activities of the Regional and Provincial  Offices. Under her leadership, the Regional Office was a recipient of a  Certificate of Commendation from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for  giving prompt, courteous and effective service to the clients during the  Spot Check and Surprise Validation conducted by CSC team on  28 March 2019.
