January 2024 - llocos Region. The Philippine Statistics Authority -Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA - RSSO I), together with its four Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOs), conducts the Enumeration Area (EA) Delineation for the development of the 2024 Enumeration Area Reference File for Mid-Decade Census of Population and Community Based Monitoring System Operations. This is part of the PSA’s continued efforts to leverage geospatial information for various purposes, specifically in its location-based operations for a more precise data interpretation and effective statistics visualization.

The EA Delineation activity aims to determine and update enumeration areas that need splitting to form relatively similar EA sizes (i.e., 100 to 300 households). This activity also targets to incorporate adjustments based on the results of the 2023 Integrated Processing of Maps activity.

The activity is set to operate from 05 February to 05 April 2024. In line with this, the PSA - RSSO I appeals for continued support from its clients and stakeholders by providing the required information.

The data collected under the EA Delineation shall be covered by the confidentiality of information clause under Section 26 of RA 10625 which stipulates that individual data furnished by a respondent to statistical inquiries, surveys, and censuses of the PSA shall be considered privileged information and shall be inadmissible as evidence in any proceeding.
