03 February 2025 - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Pangasinan headed by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Edgar M. Norberte, together with the Pangasinan Civil Registrars’ Association (PANCRA), kicked-off the opening of the 35th Civil Registration Month celebration with the theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”.

The celebration commenced with a motorcade that started from the PSA Provincial Statistical Office in Calasiao and circled the towns of Sta. Barbara, Urdaneta City, and up to Asingan, Pangasinan, this year’s host LGU for the event. The ceremonial parade was led by the PSA with the Pangasinan Civil Registrars’ Association, with the support of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office and the Public Order and Safety Offices.
Following the ceremony, Rev. Fr. Eugene Parayaoan officiated a Thanksgiving Mass.

A conference organized by the Pangasinan Civil Registrars’ Association (PANCRA) held at the DILG Building, LIGA Conference Hall, Asingan, Pangasinan, follows the event.

This yearly event aims to remind Filipinos of their responsibility to record vital acts and events pertaining to individuals' status, as well as to raise national understanding and appreciation of the administrative, legal, and statistical significance of civil registry records.
