In cooperation with the Provincial Government of Pangasinan and Local Government Units of Alaminos City, Urdaneta City, Dagupan City, Rosales, Lingayen, and San Carlos City, the Philippine Statistics Authority – Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office conducted the National ID “Rehistro Bulilit” Campaign.

The registration drive aims to encourage parents and guardians to register their children to the National Identification System and ensure that they are well-aware of the importance and benefits of having a National ID. In line with the undertaking, PSA Pangasinan coordinated with the Provincial Government, City and Municipal LGUs for the implementation of the Rehistro Bulilit Campaign in the province.

The commencement of Rehistro Bulilit was held simultaneously at the Alaminos City Sports Complex and CB Mall Urdaneta City on August 26, 2024 catering registrants in Districts 1 and 5. Similarly, the campaign was conducted at SM City Rosales and CSI The City Mall Dagupan City on August 31, 2024 for children in Districts 4 and 6.  Meanwhile, on September 04, 2024, the campaign was organized at Lingayen Civic Center and San Carlos City Arenas Resuello Gym in Districts 2 and 3.

PSA Pangasinan through the National ID System is in full-swing for the registration process and issuance of electronic National ID. Various departments under the Provincial Government of Pangasinan have provided their collective services to support the campaign. Children enjoyed the story telling and coloring activities facilitated by staff of the Pangasinan Provincial Library. Medical and dental services with free medicines were provided by the Provincial Health Office. Meanwhile, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office conducted a feeding program for the participants.

The National ID “Rehistro Bulilit” Campaign was one of the strategies of the PSA to increase the registration turnout of children 1 to 4 years old. A total of 1,335 children aged 1 to 4 were registered and 759 registrants for 5 years old and over. The accumulated figures solidify an increase in the registration output of Pangasinan.

PSA is dedicated to achieving the target of 92 million Filipinos including the 7.18 million projected population of children 1 to 4 years old by the end of September 2024. Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office continuous the conduct of the National ID “Rehistro Bulilit” Campaign to contribute to the nationwide target towards “Makabagong Pilipinas”.
