
December 05, 2024 - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office through the National Identification participated the GCash Youth Camp School Attack happened at Pangasinan State University (PSU) in Bayambang, Pangasinan.
In collaboration with GCash Youth Camp School Attack headed by Mr. Fervic Cutamora and PSU Bayambang University President Mr. Elbert M. Galas, PSA Pangasinan brought National ID services closer to the faculties and students. National ID registration, issuance of the Printed in Paper Format and downloading the Digital National ID are the services conducted during the activity. The National ID, in any format, will help streamline the process of opening and verification of GCash accounts.

The activity became an avenue for PSA to further introduce the National ID in various formats: (1) the National ID or the physical card; (2) the National ID Printed in Paper (formerly ePhilID); and the (3) Digital National ID which can be accessed online or on a mobile device. PSA continues to promote that all the National ID formats have the same functionality and validity.
PSA proactively engaged to activities aiming to attain the goal to establish a valid proof of identity making it easier to do business by simplifying transactions with the government and private sector using the National ID.
