The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - La Union Provincial Statistical Office, through its Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) team joined the Pamilya ng Pulis (PNP) Family Day of the Police Regional Office 1 headed by Regional Director Police Brigadier General (PBGEN) Lou Frias Evangelista held on 31 July 2024 at the Police Regional Office (PRO) 1 Auditorium, Camp BGen Oscar M Florendo, Parian, City of San Fernando, La Union.

During the event, the team facilitated the National ID registration among PNP personnel and provided information about the Digital National ID, which is accessible through national-id.gov.ph. They also assisted the PNP personnel in obtaining their Digital National ID.

All PNP personnel registered in the PhilSys were also informed how to check the delivery status of their PhilID using the 29-digit Transaction Reference Number (TRN) found in the Transaction Slip issued after successful PhilSys registration. This can be done in the Philippine Postal Corporation (PhlPost) tracker through https://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph/.

Moreover, the PhilSys team also catered requests for the replacement of PhilIDs with peeled-off front-facing photograph. 

Queries of the PNP personnel were also accommodated ensuring that correct information about the PhilSys was provided.
