The Philippine Statistics Authority - Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office consistently facilitates the continuing implementation of the registration in the National Identification across the province. As of 31 December 2024, PSA has successfully registered a total number of 2,713,279 in Pangasinan or 85.78% of the population of 3,163,190 based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing.

Calasiao was already saturated with pass through percentage of 106.87. The highest number of registrations of was recorded in the City of San Carlos with a total of 171,104 registrants while the municipality of Santo Tomas had the lowest with 13,486 registrations but with 90.64% of the population were registered.
Determined to increase the registration output, PSA Pangasinan conducted strategies and advocacy campaign across the province. Conduct of mobile registration in barangays are continuing along with house-to-house registration for unregistered population who are physically incapable of going to any Registration Center across the province, such as but not limited to Senior Citizens, Persons with Disability, and people who are bedridden.

PSA Pangasinan continues to collaborate effectively with the relying parties to provide a valid proof of identity that helps in simplifying private and public transactions. In line with the undertaking, PSA and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) implemented the incentivization of National ID authentication and registration among unregistered Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries during the 4Ps Family Development Sessions (FDS) conducted in all cities and municipalities in Pangasinan from February to June 2024.

PSA Pangasinan coordinated with the Provincial Government, City and Municipal LGUs for the implementation of the National ID “Rehistro Bulilit” Campaign. The registration drive aims to encourage parents and guardians to register their children to the National Identification. The campaign was one of the strategies of the PSA to increase the registration turnout of children 1 to 4 years old.
The co-location activities with the DSWD and LGUs alongside with the registration of children contributed to the increase of registration, putting the province in the lead in terms of increase in the number of registration outputs. Pangasinan is the top performer with 9,001 increases for the month of April 2024.

PSA is dedicated to register all Filipinos in the National Identification. Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office is committed to contribute to the nationwide target this year of 2025.
