The 2021 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) in the Ilocos Region showed that there are 30 establishments in the section of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply. Comparing this to the 20 establishments in 2020, there has been a 50.0 percent rise.

The total number of employees was recorded at 3,197, indicating an increase of 1.2 percent from the 3,158 employees in 2020.
 

All the workers in the section of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply in 2021 were paid employees.

The total compensation paid in the Ilocos Region for the Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply section in 2021 was recorded at PhP 2.92 billion, which translated to an average annual compensation of PhP 914.65 thousand per paid employee. This was 2.9 percent higher than the average annual compensation of PhP 889.05 thousand per paid employee in 2020.

In the Ilocos Region, the total revenue for the Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply section was recorded at PhP 42.77 billion in 2021, an increase of 2.3 percent from PhP 41.81 billion in 2020. Meanwhile, the section showed a total expense of PhP 35.73 billion in 2021, which indicated an annual growth of 4.2 percent from PhP 34.28 billion in 2020.

The revenue per peso expense ratio for the Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply section is 1.20, which reflected a decline of 1.6 percent from 1.22 in 2020.
