The Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA – RSSO I) conducted the 2022 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) Regional Data Dissemination Forum and the 2024 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) Regional Respondents’ Forum in San Fernando, La Union on  

The 2022 ASPBI aims to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of economic activities in the formal sector for the year 2022. Furthermore, the 2024 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) is a nationwide survey that will provide quarterly data on employment, compensation, and revenue for key industry groups in the Philippines. These surveys are crucial for providing key data that supports economic planning, policy development, and business strategies.

The event was opened by Ms. Danites E. Teñido, PhD., Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) of PSO – La Union, and followed by a message from Ms. Camille Carla U. Beltran, Chief Administrative Officer of PSA-RSSO I – CRASD. Audio-visual presentations (AVPs) for the Presentation of 2022 ASPBI Regional Data and QSPBI-Online Facility for Establishments were presented followed by the presentation of the preliminary results of the 2022 ASPBI regional data by OIC–SOCD, Ms. Teresa B. Olarte. Discussions on National Accounts was presented by the Senior Statistical Specialist of the PSA-Central Office, Ms. Jennifer O. Pevidal.

Meanwhile, Ms. Abigail Peralta of the Poro Point Management Corporation delivered a message of support for PSA’s conduct of the ASPBI and QSPBI. The program was concluded with the delivery of the closing remarks by the PSO-Ilocos Norte’s CSS, Marilyn P. Vergara.
