2022 Community-Based Monitoring System Data Turnover Ceremony of the Municipality of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) conducted the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Nationwide Rollout in 2022 and was participated by 36 Local Government Units (LGUs) in Ilocos Region, 17 PSA-funded municipalities and 19 LGU-funded municipalities. One of the participating LGUs of Ilocos Region and fully-funded by the LGU is the municipality of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur with 33 barangays.

One of the major activities and highlights of the 2022 CBMS is the conduct of Data Turnover Ceremony (DTC). It aims to officially turn over the CBMS data to the participating LGUs. The event serves as a venue to present the highlights of the 2022 CBMS results and an opportunity for LGUs to discuss their future plans and programs using the CBMS data.

The DTC in the municipality of Santa Maria was conducted on 06 February 2024. The ceremony was spearheaded by the Regional Director of RSSO I, Atty. Sheila O. De Guzman, Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Jeanette M. Marzan of the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of llocos Sur, Senior Statistical Specialist (SrSS) Melchor S. Bautista of PSO llocos Sur, Municipal Administrator Gregorio S. Roa, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) Raymond R. Sinay, and Data Protection Officer Designate Christine Kathleen D. Antolin.
