2022 Community-Based Monitoring System Data Turnover Ceremony of the Municipality of Bacnotan, La Union

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) conducted the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Nationwide Rollout in 2022 and was participated by 36 Local Government Units (LGUs) in Ilocos Region, 17 PSA-funded municipalities and 19 LGU-funded municipalities. One of the participating LGUs of Ilocos Region and fully-funded by the LGU is the municipality of Bacnotan, La Union.

One of the major activities and highlights of the 2022 CBMS is the conduct of Data Turnover Ceremony (DTC). It aims to officially turn over the CBMS data to the participating LGUs. The event serves as a venue to present the highlights of the 2022 CBMS results and an opportunity for LGUs to discuss their future plans and programs using the CBMS data.

The DTC in the municipality of Bacnotan was conducted on 17 January 2024. The ceremony was spearheaded by the Regional Director Atty. Sheila O. De Guzman of RSSO I, Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Danites E. Tenido of the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of La Union, Senior Statistical Specialist (SrSS) Marieta P. Rivera of PSO La Union, Municipal Mayor Divina C. Fontanilla of LGU Bacnotan, Municipal Vice Mayor Francisco Angelito L. Fontanilla, Municipal Administrator Atty. Marivic R. Estrada, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) Francia C. Gonzales, and ABC President Rufino Lito L. Fontanilla
