PSA-RSSO I recognizes its important role as Gender and Development advocate, thus, strengthened the gender sensitivity among its employees through an orientation conducted on 15 March 2024. The orientation aimed to still awareness among the employees on the various gender biases and how to end them.

GAD focal person, ROIV Zenaida L. Garcillan discussed the basic concepts of Gender and Development, the various gender biases in the family, school, work, and other institutions in the society, and how can the employees help eliminate gender biases and resolve gender issues.

Likewise, to voice out their thoughts on women empowerment and recognize the efforts of the women of PSA-RSSO I towards development, the employees wrote down notes and posted in the GAD Corners. This shall remind every woman of PSA-RSSO I that they are important in the society, and that their role in nation building is integral.
