The Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA RSSO l), together with other RSSOs in the country, formally launched its Data Enclave Center (DEC) during the simultaneous ribbon-cutting ceremony held on 14 July 2023.

ln llocos Region, PSA RSSO I Regional Director (RD) Atty. Sheila O. De Guzman and National Economic and Development Authority - Regional Office I Officer-in-Charge (OlC) - RD lrenea B. Ubungen, PhD graced the onsite event together with representatives from the member-agencies of the Regional Statistics Committee I and academic institutions. Other stakeholders joined the event via video conference and through Facebook Live that was streamed in the official Facebook page of the RSSO l.

The DEC is a highly secure and specialized facility through which confidential data such as identifiable information and firm-level data from censuses and surveys can be stored and disseminated.

The launching of the DEC is aligned with the PSA's commitment to deliver excellent data sharing to its clients and stakeholders.
