The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has collaborated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to cater National ID registration and provide authentication services to beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) through the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). 

The province-wide undertaking was initiated by the DSWD, as part of its commitment to register members and their dependent children to PhilSys. The collaborative project solidifies a comprehensive coverage of 4Ps beneficiaries across Pangasinan. With the support from the Local Government Units (LGUs) and the barangays, PhilSys was able to extend registration and authentication services closer to the beneficiaries during the DSWD Family Development Sessions.

The week-long activities commenced last February 2024 in Mangatarem, Malasiqui, and San Carlos City, followed by Bani, San Fabian, Umingan, Calasiao, Mangaldan, Rosales, Dagupan City, Lingayen and Tayug on March 2024, Bayambang and Binmaley on April 2024, and successfully conducted simultaneously at San Manuel, Sta. Barbara, San Quintin, Manaoag, Mapandan, San Jacinto, Urbiztondo, Binalonan, Urdaneta City, Asingan, Basista, Bautista, Sual, Alaminos City, Labrador, Aguilar, Bugallon, Villasis, Alcala, and Laoac on May 2024.

The final wave of the co-location activity happened in Mabini, Bolinao, Anda, Burgos, Agno, Pozorrubio, San Nicolas, Natividad, Sta. Maria, Sison, Balungao, Sto. Tomas, Infanta and Dasol on June 2024.
 

PSA Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office’s and the DSWD’s collaboration to provide a valid proof of identity for 4Ps beneficiaries through the PhilSys was a success.

A total of 207,204 National ID authentications and 41,311 registrations were accomplished by PSA Pangasinan.
