PSA-La Union has implemented various strategies to cover the PhilSys-unregistered residents in the province. These included the conduct of mobile registration activities in different barangays and collaboration with institutions to facilitate PhilSys institutional registration.
In August 2024, the PhilSys team also conducted information campaign during mobile registration in barangays situated in the City of San Fernando, Luna, Sudipen, Agoo, and San Juan to increase public awareness on PhilSys. The PhilSys team also conducted house-to-house survey to identify unregistered children aged 1 to 4, informed on the supporting documents to be presented during the registration, and encouraged parents and guardians to register their children in the PhilSys.
PSA-La Union also launched the "Rehistro Bulilit" campaign in San Jose Sur, Agoo, La Union on 30 August 2024 to promote the importance of early National ID registration among children aged 1 to 4. This initiative aims to ensure that all Filipinos, including young children, will have access to the benefits provided by the National ID.
