The Ilocos Norte Provincial Statistics Office (PSO) proudly celebrated the 11th anniversary of the Philippine Statistics Authority on 12 September 2024, with a Thanksgiving Mass and an Online Recognition Ceremony organized by the Regional Office. The event, held under the theme “Strengthening Data Stewardship Towards a Responsive Public Service,” showcased PSA's unwavering commitment to data integrity and excellence in public service.
The day began with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass at the PSA Ilocos Norte Conference Room, presided over by Rev. Fr. Danilo L. Devaras. Attended by PSA employees and invited guests, the mass served as a solemn reflection on the agency’s achievements and its significant role in nation-building through responsible data management. In his homily, Father Devaras highlighted the virtues of service, integrity, and leadership, underscoring the critical impact of data stewardship in supporting public programs and services.
Following the Thanksgiving Mass, PSA Ilocos Norte staff gathered to participate in an Online Recognition Ceremony via Zoom hosted by RSSO I. This virtual event allowed employees to gather and celebrate the milestones of long-serving colleagues while fostering a sense of unity and pride within the PSA family.
The day’s activities concluded with light refreshments and informal discussions, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among participants. The successful events underscored PSA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing data stewardship in support of responsive governance and public service.
