The Philippine Statistics Authority-Provincial Office of Ilocos Norte, and members of the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board convened at Pinili Municipal Hall on 09 May 2024.

The meeting was presided over by the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Caezar A. Jacinto. Representatives from various sectors of the Local Government Unit were also present, ensuring that the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS was discussed thoroughly and inclusively. Their involvement demonstrates the municipality's commitment to data-driven decision-making and collaborative governance.

Also in attendance were key personnel from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), including Francisca D. Luis, Statistical Specialist II, Mary Joy P. Mapugay, Statistical Analyst, and Ariane Mae A. Ulep, CBMS-Statistical Specialist II. The team presented the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS scope and coverage and updated the timeline of activities. She also discussed the barangay profile questionnaire data collection and the roles and responsibilities of the members of the CCBs.

The 2024 POPCEN-CBMS is a cooperative effort aimed at improving the quality of life for the municipality's residents by collecting disaggregated household data. This integrated approach enables the agency to efficiently update the nation's population and social registry cost-effectively. The data gathered will be shared with policymakers, who will utilize them to design evidence-based program implementations and allocate the country's resources efficiently, thereby fostering economic development and poverty eradication.
