The Ilocos Region has shown remarkable commitment in ensuring the registration of the beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), along with their dependent children, to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure that all 4Ps beneficiaries are comprehensively covered in the PhilSys registry.

The PSA-RSSO I and DSWD Regional Office I have collaborated to bring about this initiative. The registration to PhilSys will enable the beneficiaries to have a more efficient, targeted, and equitable delivery of social protection programs and services for all.

Moreover, the initiative to register the children aged 1-4 years old is truly remarkable. This proactive approach not only ensures that the youngest members of our community are accounted for in the PhilSys but also lays the foundation for their future access to essential services and opportunities. By prioritizing the registration of these young children, the llocos Region demonstrates its commitment to inclusivity and the well-being of all its residents.
