ILOCOS REGION, The Philippine Statistics Authority - Regional Statistical Services Office ! (PSA - RSSO I) with the four Provincial Statistical Offices in the region is currently conducting the January 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS). It started on 08 January 2025 and will be completed on 31 January 2025. One thousand five hundred thirty-six (1,536) eligible households in the region are to be visited by hired and trained statistical researchers.

The LFS involves the collection of data on labor and employment. It also gathers the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the labor force. These data are used in determining the income distribution, levels of living, spending patterns, and the degree of income inequality among families.

In line with this endeavor, the PSA enjoins all the sample households to support and participate in the survey by providing truthful information. In addition, all personnel involved in this survey are required to keep in STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY any information obtained that pertains to any particular household or individual during the survey.
