Calasiao, Pangasinan - The Provincial Statistical Office of Pangasinan spearheaded the celebration of the 33rd Civil Registration Month last 03 February 2023, through a motorcade.

The activity was attended by PSA RSSO-01 led by Regional Director Atty. Sheila O. De Guzman and Registration Officer IV Zenaida L. Garcillan of RSSO-01 CRASD. The Provincial Statistical Office of Pangasinan headed by Chief Statistical Specialist Edgar M. Norberte and Supervising Statistical Specialist Ferdinand Q. Jocutan were also present. Moreover, the Municipal Civil Registrars (MCRs) from the 48 cities and municipalities in the province., headed by Pangasinan Civil Registrars Association (PanCRA) President Lourdes M. Llamas, joined the event. This year's celebration revolves around the theme "PSA @ 10: Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration and Vital Statistics through Digital Transformation". Thanksgiving Mass and PanCRA Meeting were held afterwards.

Presidential Proclamation No. 682 declares the month of February of every year as Civil Registration Month (CRM) signed by former President Corazon C. Aquino on 28 January 1991. The annual celebration aims to remind the citizenry of their right and duty to register acts and events concerning status of persons, enhance nationwide awareness and appreciation of the legal, administrative, and statistical values of civil registry documents and enjoin policy makers and the Local Government Units (LGUs) in providing adequate funds for CRVS and enforcement and administration laws.
