The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA – RSSO I) bagged 2^nd Place under the Top Five Regions Category and the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of La Union attained 2^nd Place under the Top 15 PSO Category during the recently concluded 2021 PSA Awards held on 28 July 2022 in Quezon City.  

The RSSO I was also the recipient of three special awards: 1^st Place in Best in Financial, Human Resource, and Administrative Service; 2^nd Place in Best in Civil Registration; and 2^nd Place in Best in Information Dissemination. 

Meanwhile, PSO – La Union achieved 1^st Place for Best in Statistical Planning and Coordination and acquired 5^th Place for Best in Information Dissemination.

A Special Award was also conferred to the regional office for its valuable participation and support to the 2021 Pilot Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). The PSOs of La Union and Pangasinan
also received the same award.

PSO – Pangasinan succeeded as one of the Top 10 PSOs (32 Provinces Category) for its outstanding performance in the conduct of the Step 2 Registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). The province is one of the 32 priority provinces to implement the Philsys in 2020.
