The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - La Union Provincial Statistical Office successfully launched its Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) "Rehistro Bulilit" campaign in San Jose Sur, Agoo, La Union on 31 August 2024 to promote the importance of early National ID registration among children aged 1 to 4.
During the event, Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Danites E. Teñido, PhD, informed that the "Rehistro Bulilit" campaign aims to ensure that all Filipinos will have access to the benefits provided by the National ID including young children.
Registration Officer II (RO II) Girard Francis M. Moreover, PhilSys Focal Person Joselito N. Lavaro provided updates on PhilSys that included the uses of PhilID and its other forms, the electronic PhilSys ID (ePhilID) which is printed on a piece of paper and the Digital National ID – the digital version of the National ID accessible through the website https://national-id.gov.ph using computers or smartphones with an internet connection.
