The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has continued to collaborate with the Philippine Statistics Authority to accommodate Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries to Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration and other identification services.
Second week of the co-location activity was conducted simultaneously at Bani, San Fabian and Umingan from March 04 to 08, 2024 during the 4Ps Family Development Sessions (FDS).
With the system now capable of registering 1 to 4 years old, the DSWD activity will guarantee an encompassing coverage of 4Ps beneficiaries and their dependent children through the PhilSys registry. The undertaking also allows beneficiaries to receive their ePhilID or the electronic version of the Philippine Identification (PhilID) card, along with the authentication of their PhilIDs through biometric information scanning and PhilSys Check.
PSA Pangasinan and DSWD’s co-location activities in Bani, San Fabian, and Umingan gathered a total of 2,795 registrations and issued 2,620 ePhilIDs, collectively. The collaboration will continue with the rest of the cities and municipalities in Pangasinan expected to be completed until the second quarter 2024, to provide 4Ps beneficiaries valid proof of identity.
