The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Ilocos Region was valued at PhP 654.87 billion in 2022. Pangasinan emerged as the top contributor to the GRDP registering 53.9 percent or PhP_352.93 billion. La Union ranked second with 18.1 percent share, equivalent to PhP_118.60 billion. Meanwhile, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur shared 14.2_percent (PhP 93.10 billion) and 13.8 percent (PhP 90.24 billion), respectively. The 2022 Gross Domestic Product of all provinces in the region surpassed their respective 2019 pre-pandemic level. (Figure 1)
