November 2023 llocos Region. The Philippine Statistics Authority- Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA-RSSO l) conducted the Regional Data Dissemination Forum on the results of the 2021 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and lndustry (ASPBI) on22 November2023 in Santiago Cove Hotel and Restaurant, Santiago, llocos Sur. Director Exequiel Ronie A. Guzman of Department of Labor and Employment, Regional Office I served as the Keynote Speaker during the event. 
He emphasized the importance of statistics in the planning and program implementation of the government. He encouraged the business establishments for continued support through the provision of timely and accurate data to PSA.

The forum highlighted the situation of the business and industries in the llocos Region and provided a deeper appreciation on the significant contribution of the ASPBI results in the formulation of socio-economic development plans, policies, and programs. lt was also the venue to recognize and acknowledge responding establishments in the early submission of the ASPBI questionnaires. Furthermore, the continued support of partners in the government sector in the various undertaking of the PSA was recognized.

The ASPBI is one of the designated statistical activities of the PSA that generates essential statistics for economic planning and analysis. lt collects and generates information on the levels, structure, performance and trends of economic activities of the formal sector of the economy.

The PSA - RSSO I extends its sincere appreciation to responding sample establishments for their cooperation and support to the successful conduct of the 2021 ASPBI.
