03 January 2021 – Ilocos Region. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA-RSSO I) published an advisory stating that the Civil Registration Service (CRS) outlets based  in the City of San Fernando, La Union and in Calasiao, Pangasinan  will implement the CRS online appointment system  through appointment.psa.gov.ph for clients requesting for issuance  of civil registry documents and certification. The said advisory took effect on 20 December 2021.

Officer-in-Charge Atty. Sheila O. De Guzman said that securing  an appointment is free of charge and that the CRS appointment slip  is non-transferable. Atty. De Guzman also stressed that only clients  with a valid appointment slip from the online appointment system  shall be allowed entry to the PSA premises, including frontliners  and those with emergency or urgent requests. 

To use the online appointment system, follow the steps below:

1. Copy the link: appointment.psa.gov.ph to your browser.
2. Click the CRS appointment system.
3. Agree with the Privacy Notice and Terms and Conditions  then click on NEXT.
4. Choose your preferred CRS Outlet, then click on NEXT.
5. Provide the required information, click on “I AGREE”  and click on NEXT.
6. Select your preferred date and time of appointment and click NEXT.
7. Wait for the confirmation of your appointment sent to the e-mail address you provided in Step 5. Check the date and time  of your appointment.
8. Print the email received or the confirmation/appointment slip  which must be presented at the indicated outlet on the date and time  of your appointment

La Union CRS Outlet Supervisor (OS) Joseph E. Estoesta reminds  all clients to be at the PSA CRS Outlet at least 30 minutes before  their appointment schedule. In addition, clients must bring valid physical IDs of the document owner/s and their authorized representatives. 

OS Estoesta mentioned that the CRS outlets based in Vigan City,  Ilocos Sur and in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte will also implement the online appointment system in February 2022.
