Alaminos City, Pangasinan – The Philippine Statistics Authority – Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office participated the KAISA AKO Symposium on Civil Registration and Awarding of Free Certificates of Live Birth in Security Paper (SECPA) to Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) beneficiaries, and Alaminos Barangay Caravan on 31 July 2024 and 01 August 2024, respectively.
The Local Government Unit of Alaminos City headed by City Mayor Arth Bryan C. Celeste and City Civil Registrar Lovely De Castro-Milles continues to collaborate with the PSA in the implementation of the BRAP and the National ID System. The events serve as avenue to address concerns and identify issues in dealing with birth registration and the National ID. During the event, PSA Pangasinan conducted registration for the National ID and issuance of National ID, printed in paper. National ID System Provincial Focal Person Christopher F. Flores assured the validity and acceptance of the Digital National ID and the registration of children aged 1 to 4.
As the implementing agency of the National Identification System, and the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), PSA continues in ensuring to protect, include, and empower children and beneficiaries’ rights to identity.
