The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is committed to register beneficiaries of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and their dependent children in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).

In line with this commitment, the DSWD is implementing the incentivization of Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) authentication and registration among unregistered Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries from February to March 2024 during the 4Ps Family Development Sessions (FDS).

PSA Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office headed by Chief Statistical Specialist Edgar M. Norberte, with PhilSys Focal Person Christopher F. Flores collaborated with the DSWD Field Offices for the pilot of the project in Mangatarem, Malasiqui, and San Carlos City.
The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure comprehensive coverage of 4Ps beneficiaries in the PhilSys registry.
The co-location activity in Malasiqui, Pangasinan catered beneficiaries from Brgy. Pasima, Tambac, Banawang, and Poblacion from February 26 to March 02, 2024 with a total of 553 registrants and 1,219 ePhilIDs issued.

The pilot week of the DSWD co-location activity also simultaneously conducted in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, covering 27 different barangays in the city from February 26 to March 01, 2024. 469 registrations were recorded, and 2,120 ePhilIDs issued.

A total of 1,728 registrations and 3,544 ePhilIDs issued, PSA Pangasinan and DSWD collaborated effectively to provide a valid proof of identity for 4Ps beneficiaries through PhilSys, that helps in simplifying private and public transactions, specifically with the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.
