The PLDS-BR Project is a special initiative that involves collecting city/municipal LGU business registers and matching the business units with the PSA’s List of Establishments (LE). It is a strategy to enhance the coverage of the Statistical Business Register (SBR) and strengthen partnerships with city/municipal LGUs through data sharing.
Through the PLDS-BR Project, LGUs will be provided with their updated business registers, which include suggested PSIC codes to guide their adoption of the 2009 PSIC with 2019 updates. Additionally, other visual representations will be provided, which can be used as references for decision-making and policy recommendations.
