The PhilSys La Union team has successfully registered a significant number of individuals for the PhilSys, also known as the National ID. This achievement is a result of their on-going efforts, which include the conduct of mobile registration, institutional registration, and school-based registration that make PhilSys registration closer to the registrants in the province.

To make PhilSys registration more accessible, PSA-La Union continuously operates its Fix Registration Center (FRC) situated at Doña Pepita Bldg., Quezon Ave., Brgy. II, City of San Fernando, La Union. This center allows residents to register, inquire about PhilSys, and even update their National ID information if there are any errors. PSA-La Union has also stationed personnel at the Civil Registration Services (CRS) Outlet of PSA-Regional Statistical Services Office I (RSSO I).

Moreover, PSA-La Union has been conducting the "Rehistro Bulilit" campaign during mobile registration to promote the importance of registering children aged 0 to 4 for the National ID. This initiative aims to provide the benefit of having a National ID starting from a young age.

To increase awareness of the public on PhilSys and to facilitate registration, PSA-La Union has actively engaged with the public through various channels. Radio programs have been utilized to disseminate information and to address common queries. Additionally, information dissemination on PhilSys are conducted such as the acceptance of the PhilID in a physical card or other recognized formats, including the ePhilID and the Digital National ID accessible through national-id.gov.ph or eGov App, as a valid and sufficient proof of identity subject to verification, registration of children 0 to 4 years old, and the PhilSys Updating Service at the FRC. Through these initiatives, PSA-La Union aims to ensure that all residents of La Union are well-informed and registered to the PhilSys.

For more information about PhilSys, individuals can visit the official PhilSys website at https://philsys.gov.ph/ or the official Facebook page at PSAPhilSysOfficial.
