ILOCOS REGION. The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office I (PSA-RSSO I) conducted the 2024 Joint Second and Third Level Training on the 2024 Annual Survey on Philippine Business and Industry (ASBPI) and Survey on Information and Communications Technology (SICT) Data Processing on 27 to 30 May 2025 in the City of San Fernando, La Union.

The training focused on equipping the Provincial Focal Persons, hired Statistical Researchers (SRS) and Receipt and Control Clerk (RCC) in the standard procedures in the machine processing of the gathered data at the Provincial Statistical Offices (PSOS) to carry out the processing uniformly and correctly. This is to ensure the acceptability and reliability of estimates generated.

The 2024 ASPBI was conducted to provide key measures on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of businesses and industries. These data will be used by the government planners, policy makers, and administrators in formulating the social and economic development plans, policies and programs.
