Data on births, deaths and marriages presented in this release were obtained from the Certificate of Live Birth (Municipal Form 102), Certificate of Death (Municipal Form 103) and Certificate of Marriage (Municipal Form No. 97) that were registered at the Office of the City/Municipal Civil Registrars and forwarded to the Philippine Statistics Authority - Provincial Statistical Offices in Ilocos Region. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the January 2020 Labor Force Survey (LFS) enumeration starting on January 8, 2020. PSA regular staff and hired Statistical Researchers (SRs) will undertake the survey from January 8 to 31, 2019 using the Computer Aided Personal Interview (CAPI). The Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Ilocos Region in October 2019 (2012-based) was recorded at 119.7. This figure is 0.2 percentage points lower than the October 2018’s figure of 119.9. In the previous month, the region’s CPI was pegged at 119.5. The top three commodity groups that recorded high price indices were: alcoholic beverages and tobacco (186.8); food and non-alcoholic beverages (126.7); and furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house (123.5). The overall fisheries production in Ilocos Region grew by 8.08 percent in 3rd quarter 2019. From the total output of 23,365 metric tons in 3rd quarter 2018, it accelerated to 25,253 metric tons this year.
